YR 1-2 CRICKET FESTIVAL

Today we welcomed over 160 children for our YR 1-2 Cricket Festival @ueasportspark

The children were from 16 schools, who had lots of fun and trying to achieve their personal best/try something new in skilled-based cricket activity stations on “batting, bowling & fielding”

A huge well done to all the children who participated showing great attitudes. A huge thank you & shout out @norfolkcricketboard for delivering the skilled activities and encouraged the children throughout!

Thanks to Lyng, Hockering, Kinsale infant, Heather Avenue infant, Bawdeswell, Ghost Hill infant, Stibbard, North Elmham, Grove House infant, Kings Park Infant, Thomas Bullock, Scarning, Garvestone, Toftwood Infant, Dereham infant & St Mary’s for allowing their pupils to access this event.

It was great to Capture Youth Voice by speaking to a few pupils from participating schools during/after the event on their thoughts/feedback. Few quotes below for what it is all about;
