YR 1-2 P.E FESTIVAL

Today we welcomed over 160 children for our YR1-2 Norwich P.E Festival Event at @easton_college Tennis Centre.
The children were from 13 schools (14 teams), who had lots of fun and trying to achieve their personal best/try something new in 7 skilled-based activity stations on “domes & dishes, relay races, bean bag in hoops, parachute game, hoop circle, action dice & balance course”
A huge well done to all the children who participated showing great attitudes and PASSION (our schools games value for this event). A massive thanks to Dereham Neatherd High School sports leaders who supported the event and encouraged the children throughout!
Thanks to Arden Grove infant, Astley, Corpusty, Costessey, Ghost Hill infant, Great Witchingham, Heather Avenue infant, Kinsale infant, Langley Prep, Lodge Lane infant x2, Nightingale infant, Queenshill, St Augustine’s for allowing their pupils to access this event.
It was great to Capture Youth Voice by speaking to a few pupils from participating schools during/after the event on their thoughts/feedback. Few quotes below for what it is all about;
“The best day ever”
