On 21st March 2024 we held our Yr1-2 Adapted Sports4all Festival at Easton Tennis Centre. This was an Engage themed event and was for pupils who enjoy friendly competition but don't want to solely focus on winning and losing, instead they focus on supporting pupils wider development of their physical, personal, emotional and social health. All Pupils received a participant certificate and the school games value celebrated for this event was Self Belief. All children were encouraged to display the school games values and fair play but each team nominated one pupil from their school who stood out the most for showing Self Belief School Games Value.
We had the following 16 schools attend our event:
The schools participated in 8 different activities delivered by Helleson High School sports leaders, who were brilliant at supporting and encouraging the children to do their personal best. It was great to see over 140 children involved in various activities and a great opportunity for the pupils to represent their school in a sports event. The pupils were active and improved across the day. Following on from todays event, we encourage schools to provide the children an opportunity to develop and improve their skills further by putting on clubs before/after school, break and lunchtimes.

On Friday 15th March 2024 we held our Dance Show - 'Be Active Be Healthy Be Happy' at The SPACE. The show was absoultely brilliant and all the dancers performances were amazing.
We had the following 10 schools attend our Dance Show:
It was great to see 180 children involved in the dance show and a great opportunity for the pupils to represent their school in an event. The dancers have been practising for months to perfect their dance routines and were very impressive. Following on from todays event, we encourage schools to provide the children an opportunity to develop and improve their skills further by putting on clubs before/after school, break and lunchtimes.
We had a guest speaker, our legendary Matt Mann who introduced each troupe and of course was superb.
Also Taverham High School Dance Group performed a routine at our 4pm show and Legacy Dance Company performed a routine at our 7pm show and were breath taking!!
Thank you to Matt, THS and Legacy for adding that extra sparkle to our event.
